A native of Winona, Minnesota, Nick graduated, magna cum laude, from Mount Mercy College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, Psychology and Sociology. He received his law degree, cum laude, from Hamline University School of Law.
