MinnCann Pipeline

Our office is currently representing the owners of 17 parcels in 6 counties through the condemnation process initiated by the Minnesota Pipe Line Company. MPL is condemning approximately 300 miles of easement for the installation of crude oil pipeline. The line runs through 13 counties from Clearbrook, Minnesota to the Flint Hills Refinery ine Rosemount, Minnesota. The pipe is 24 inches in diameter with the capacity to pump 165,000 barrels per day. The easement being taken by MPL consists of a 50 foot permanent easement and an additional 50 foot temporary easement; some properties are also subject to an additional temporary workspace easement.
